Carménère

The Carmenere is a grape of Bordeaux origin. It is the result of interbreeding between Cabernet Franc and Cabernet big.

In France, it occupies only ten hectares, but it is also grown in Chile, Peru, in the Cordillera of the Andes, California, Italy and Argentina.It is often nicknamed Vidure because of its wood hard enough size. The Carmenere the leaves are shiny and revolute. Its berries are round and are medium sized. The Carmenere fears botrytis, especially in humid autumn.
