Château Grand Corbin-Despagne
Located northwest of Saint Emilion, on the gravel plateau near Cheval Blanc and Pomerol, this area belongs since the early nineteenth century to the Despagne family. He is from the broad field Grand Corbin, owned a time of the Black Prince in the fourteenth century, split, gave birth to several castles associated with the name of "Grand Corbin."Known since the late nineteenth century, it was at this time that it takes its current name. He became Grand Cru Classélors 1 ranking from Saint-Emilion in 1954, and after some decline in the 80s and its decommissioning in 1996, again Grand Cru Classé in 2006.
