Château Quinault L'Enclos

This property, close to the Dordogne, extends over 20 hectares in the heart of Libourne. Its uniqueness is to be a city of vineyards. It benefits from a soil composed of sand and pebbles with little clay on which are planted vines 45 years of age on average. Merlot dominates with 83%. Cabernet Franc (12%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (5%) complete the plantings.
The Château Cheval Blanc team around the vineyards of the most attentive care since its acquisition in 2008 by Baron Frère and Bernard Arnault. It has undertaken a biological conversion of the entire field. The wine is made in oak barrels whose renewal is at 50% annually.
