Domaine Bollinger

Young German seller, Joseph Bollinger was hired in 1829 by Emmanuel Villermont whose daughter he married in 1837 before inherit the vineyard three years later. Nearly two centuries later, the descendants of the family hold key positions and maintain a strong tradition of quality.

The house has a vineyard of the highest order which allows it to cover 70% the grapes needs, supplies the remaining 30% being provided by strong long-term contracts. Building on the Pinot Noir that gives the soul of its wines with an easily recognizable vinous, the house offers vintage high quality, even in its old vintages RD (recently disgorged).

workhorse of the house, the special cuvee is a blend of the highest order and reveals flawless regularity through the magnum conservation reserve wines: foie and power destines to the table. Under the authority of Jerome Philipon, the house out for the first time in its history a non-vintage rosé champagne. A new cuvée who asked not less than 10 years to fix its style and its development.
